Hello beautiful Goddesses and Gods. What a beautiful day and what a beautiful time to spend a few words expressing gratitude for the path that led me to creating the Goddess Whispers shops! The latest item sold in the shop is a great expression of how I’m feeling right now.
The Art: Blindfolded Fairy In Receiving Mode
This beautiful Fairy is floating in her sparkly cave, in receiving mode, knowing the gifts of the universe are being offered to her at all times. She is blindfolded, but she is smiling. Faerie does not need to see the manifestations in front of her, she knows they are coming! She knows the universe always has her back!
The Inspiration: Law of Attraction
This art is inspired by the Law of Attraction (LoA) and in particular by the LoA teachings of Abraham-Hicks. ✨💖✨ Although I have listened to many wonderful teachers on the power of positive thinking, changing your life by changing your mindset, and all the other warm fuzzy positive vibes stuff that is encompassed in those 3 little words, “Law of Attraction,” Abraham is the one whose words I understand most clearly, whose stories I can relate to, with whose teachings I really resonate.
The Gratitude: Love and Appreciation
Abraham and all those other wonderful teachers indeed taught me how to change my life for the better. Practicing the techniques they teach brought me out of the world of depression and anxiety and back into the beautiful world of sunshine and flowers and everything that’s here for us to enjoy, happiness and joi de vivre! Personal transformation is such a wonderful Muse, the Inner Goddess coming out expressed in awesome Fairy scenes captured by virtual photography while enjoying favorite virtual realms in Second Life. How fun is that❣️
I have so much gratitude for my friends in-world who are happy to have pics taken in their sims, and also for all sim owners who welcome and encourage photography on their sims 💖💖💖. Especially sending love to Bella at The Elven Forest, to Krystal at the Rainbow’s End Fantasy Park & Rentals, and to Sam at his ‘Gift of the Sea,’ where I most love to spend time enjoying the beautiful scenery and taking pretty pictures! I am even so fortunate as to call these lovely places home… what a blessing! Check out the Elven Forest Flickr Group and the Rainbow’s End Flickr Group for some great photos from these awesome places.
I love that we are able to use the stuff we create, per Linden Labs Snapshot and Machinima Policy – thank you for that Linden Labs! ♡
The Journey: From Flickr to Zazzle, Redbubble and More
I was looking at my Flickr feed one day, thinking about how nice it is to play show and tell with our photos on Flickr, but also thinking, “Wow, I’ve put so many hours into creating these images, I wish there was some way I could use them more.” Eventually, that thought manifested into reality as I discovered the world of online shops like Zazzle and Redbubble. Once I found those, the seeds were planted.
Next came looking up the Linden Labs Snapshot and Machinima Policy and usage rules for images created within Second Life™. Then learning how to use Firestorm’s Photo Tools to take high resolution snaps that would be large enough for use in printing. Woohoo that was pretty easy to do, thanks to the awesome tools included in the awesome Firestorm Viewer! After that it was a matter of putting in the time to set up the Goddess Whispers shops, also very easy thanks to the “make it easy for you” turnkey shop pages offered for free by today’s online shopping portals. Wow the stuff humans can do with their magic portal boxes these days! (that’s Faerie-speak for computers)
The Rebirth: Giving Purpose to Purposeless Accounts
Next I rescuscitated, revived, repurposed two spaces I already had but wasn’t giving much time to: this blog and an old Instagram account and Voila! @GoddessWhispers.blog was born! To be fair, this blog wasn’t actually purposeless. Its purpose was to be a space where I could just blog when I felt like it because I felt like it, with no marketing or business networking pressures behind it. And although I’m now promoting my shop stuff, this blog remains something I will do for fun, when I feel like it, because I feel like it, with no pressure to perform. Otherwise I will just lose interest if it becomes work. Ugh! So I’m going to offer no promises of regular on time posts and updates, but I am going to have fun when I do put a post up.
The Reward: Seeing the Art on Cool Stuff in Real Life Settings!
It’s such a big huge thrill when you start to see your online shops take shape and look nice! And an even bigger thrill when something actually sells! I am not worrying about sales yet, though of course I like to have them. But the purpose of these shops is to create passive to semi-passive income for Faerie in five years and beyond. Get them up, populate them with lots of products, and then learn the system. Learn what you have to do to get the shopping portals to display your products in their shoppers’ search results. Etcetera. So I’m in no rush, but by the end of five years I do want to be earning good supplemental income. Because not working is so much more fun than working! lol. Does anyone else feel this way?

Because I am a great believer in the Law of Attraction, I really appreciate when I do get a sale, and I really encourage myself to feel the sheer thrill and joy of it! My time is paying off woot! And I so appreciate customers who love their stuff so much that they send me pics of their cool stuff in use. So wonderful of them, and so helpful for me, not only can I use them for marketing posts, but also I can just look at them and be thrilled, which puts me in such a high vibration, positive mood that more good things surely will come to me! It’s just so FUN to feel that way❣️
✨🤩😍😁✨
And guess what! As I was writing this, (for real!) I saw a notification from my GoddessWhispersArt Etsy shop that something was purchased last night. Woohoo! Can you say “manifesting” ftw! I started writing this post of appreciation last night. And last night, something sold. Coincidence? Or ✨Law of Attraction✨ manifestation? I’m going with the latter!

Well now that you’ve made it all the way to the bottom of this post ~ and CONGRATS if you did, lol! ~ I don’t need to do any shop promo here as the whole post is really about the journey of creating the shops and the thrill of seeing one’s designs on real products in real pictures, sent from people who actually liked your stuff enough to buy something cool! It’s so fun and exciting❣️ 😁
But I will say that this Faerie is a rl marketing consultant and computer tutor, and showing others how to open their own online shops is one of the training services I offer. Both Zazzle and Redbubble offer their shopfronts for free. After all, they want people to open shops and sell things, since they make their money on the transactions. There is no upfront materials cost as you don’t need to buy or stock any product, the shopping portals handle all materials and order fulfillment things. All you do is upload your designs to blank product templates and work them to make something pretty. If you would like to book Faerie for online 1-to-1 or group trainings, leave a comment below or send a message to me in these places:
- Send a Flickr mail to Prettyflower Vale
